There is a mirror to aid reversing out of the lift.

Adapted Toilet

The toilet is not for the sole use of disabled people.

There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.

The adapted toilet is 30m (33yd) from the main entrance.

The adapted toilet is located next to the standard toilets, at the rear of the library, to the left of the main entrance.

This is not a unisex toilet.

A large rollerball mouse is available for computer users.

A height adjustable table is available for computer users.

Other computer auxiliary aids include scanners.

Equipment available for people with a visual impairment includes document magnifier.

Photograph 2 shows one of the 2 height adjustable desks within the main part of the library.

There are also height adjustable desks located in the training room next to the Issue Desk.

Read and Write Gold is available on all terminals within the library.

Jaws is also available on the 2 terminals within the library with large screens and height adjustable desks.

The ramp or slope is located at the rear of the mezzanine frorn the lift.

The ramp or slope is moderate.

This ramp gives access to the teaching rooms on the 1st floor from the lift.

The same swipe card required to use the lift is required here to access the teaching rooms, via a heavy door, 90 cm wide, which opens away from you.

There is an identical ramp leading from the mezzanine level to the left of the main entrance.
