The venue is situated within the centre of the town or city.

The National Gallery of Scotland Complex is made up two seperate buildings joined by an underground link. One is know as the Royal Scottish Acadamy (RSA) and the other as the National Gallery of Scotland (NGS) The overground area between the two galleries is refered to as the Mound Precinct and blue badge parking is located in this area.
Parking (Mound Complex)

There are steps to access this area/service.

The handrails are on the right going up.
There are steps either side of this entrance door. A handrail is on the left or right as you go up depending which steps you use.
Once inside this entrance there are further steps to both the upper and lower galleries. These can be avoided by using the alternative Mound Precinct entrance.
